I was super excited to get this book by Kimberly McCreight to review. I am a huge fan and needed some suspense in my reading. It took me some time to read it, but I blame that completely on quarantine brain. I know many of us readers are having a hard time staying focused lately!
There’s a murder in an elite NY neighborhood and Lizzie gets a call from an old law school buddy. He’s at Rikers, arrested for his wife’s murder. He insists he’s innocent and needs her help.
What unfolds is a book full of crazy twists and turns. I thought for sure I figured some things out, I was just unsure of how all those dots connected. Well, surprise to me, I was mostly wrong! And this never happens to me. So BRAVO Kimberly. I had only one thing right, but man, I was so off with the rest.
A Good Marriage is a great distraction, a wonderful murder mystery, an awesome suspense. Everyone has secrets. How deadly can they be?
