I bought this book as soon as it became a Book of The Month Club Book and I couldn't put it down.
The story is told in two parts. One from Lizzie's point of view, the other from Amanda.
Lizzie is having a hard time both in her marriage and at work, when she gets a call from a former classmate who has been arrested following an altercation with a police officer at his wife's murder scene. Now Lizzie has to prove his innocents and find who really killed Amanda.
Amanda's story starts a few days before the murder and shows her life and what lead to her murder. Both stories were very well written and I couldn't wait to figure it out. I had a few guesses while I was reading but what blown away by the end.
All in all it's a wonderful read and I would recommend it completely.
