I finished A Good Marriage last night. It was a great book! Loved the author’s writing style and the characters! I felt like I was watching the best kind of Law and Order episodes

A Good Marriage shows that 'deception can be its own kind of violence.' ... This book was like Big Little Lies + Silent Patient + legal thriller. The narration includes multiple perspectives and timelines, court interviews, investigative reports, and the victim’s journals. We know from the start there was a party the night of Amanda’s death, and the rest of the book is spent untangling the days leading up to, and after the murder. This was a very slow burn; I still audibly gasped and it was still a thrilling page turner, but it’s good to know the speed going in.
