I thoroughly enjoyed this extremely fast paced thriller. I couldn’t put it down. Lizzie is an attorney who gets contacted by an old friend from law school named Zach. Zach was arrested for assaulting a police officer but is also likely to be charged in the murder of his wife, Amanda. Lizzie reluctantly takes on the case and tries desperately to unravel the mystery of Amanda (and Zach) and most importantly tries to find the real killer. At the same time, she is closely examining the problems in her own marriage to try to figure out how and if it should be saved. This book is very entertaining and very well written. I enjoyed the development of the characters. I will absolutely be recommending it to all of my book club friends.
