A Good Marriage? Maybe Not But A Good Book Indeed
This book was a whirlwind of a ride and the only thing that I could think of that could have made it better is that I would have enjoyed it more if I read it during the creepy fall nights in October instead of the summer during a pandemic. Still....it was fantastic and thrilling and I really enjoyed every single page of it.
Okay maybe it's a little cliché in thrillers that there is always some character that is hiding something like a dark sinister past, a family dysfunction, or something more. Are they getting predictable? Sure, maybe. If you are tired of this kind of stuff then move on. Okay wait, I take that back. Read this book. Why not give it an attempt at least? For those that never tire of this kind of stuff....please read. You won't be disappointed. It's well written with solid characters and just the right twists and turns we need in a book right now.
