The cover reveals a sense of rawness to the story, which is certainly felt when reading the first impression. There's little details along the way (i.e. what sandwich was packed for lunch, a stack of well-known literary fiction titles, etc.) that create a heightened level of relatability in Lizzie and Amanda, only adding more to the overall character development and story-telling. I love the addition of the grand jury testimony and hope more of those documents are included between chapters!
