Clash Of Steel is the story of two girls from different backgrounds that come together to fight pirates and find treasure!
Xiang lives in a small village that she wishes to leave one day and sail the seas and see the world. But her strict mother has different plans. She wants Xiang to choose the easy life, get married and settle down. Xiang wants to prove herself to her mom by taking over her mother's yea house in the city. As she tries to do this she meets Anh, the daughter of merchants who travel the seas. They discover that Xiangs necklace, which is all she has left of her father, is actually a piece of a long lost treasure map.
Together the girl's embark on a journey to find the famed pirate treasure.
This was a really awesome adventure that kept me entertained throughout. Started off a little slow but picked up later in the book. My favorite part was the beautiful and descriptive writing. I felt like I was right there with Xiang and Anh! Will definitely read more from this author!
