A Clash of Steel is billed as a reimaging of Treasure Island, though having read that novel, I'm not sure that's exactly the case from the summary and the brief excerpt. While both stories may be about finding hidden treasure this seems to be its own distinctive story with two young women partnering up to find a mythical treasure. I can't say that the story pulls me in right away, but it has potential.
