I love that this book is taking a well-known story and setting it in a different location and a different culture. I have heard of the Dragon Lady pirate before, but I know very little of her story. I’m excited to read more about her and the impact she had on that part of the world.
Anh and Xiang are both compelling characters. However, I must confess that at the moment I find Anh more intriguing.
