Music, exploration, and complex relationships abound in this entertaining young adult novel. I really enjoyed going on a road trip with the Savage men. I admire how varied they are. This is a book that could be read in a single sitting or in a single day. I enjoyed the antics of the Savage children as they searched for their biological father.
I couldn't imagine being the child of a sperm donor. I'm glad they found each other, as well as their father. What a thrill it would be if your father turned out to be a rockstar. I admired how he tried so hard to make up for lost time with them by doing so many things.
I liked the happy ending as well. She has a knack for putting things into sentences. I enjoyed the book's original songs. In the future, I want to read more of her novels. It would be awesome if there was a sequel to this one. I would devour it in a second!
